In late February District Experience ushered out the cold weather and prepared for Spring by adding to the DE family; Emilie Jackson is the newest Account Manager. Emilie will most concentrate on Event Operations Management, but has quickly become well versed in all aspects of DE’s high quality client relations. Emilie has an amazing background in events and the DE team was thrilled to bring her on board! Please read on to learn more about the newest DE team member that will bring excellence to each program!
Emilie Jackson Bio:
Events are engrained into Emilie’s very fabric, born to a caterer who got her start cooking for Bruce Springsteen and the former manager of Lollapalooza, this industry is home for Emilie. She has over 13 years of experience in hospitality, operating events as intimate as three person luncheons in the private dining rooms of the Supreme Court for the late Justice Antonin Scalia; to multi-sensory exhibit openings for hundreds of attendees at the Smithsonian Institutes. Emilie brings a high level of expertise to logistics and building trust with clients by providing consistency and clarity to their programs.
Emilie is deeply rooted in the Washington, DC Metro area. Born in Arlington and raised in Alexandria, she is proud to be a lifelong native. While there are many amazing places to live in the world, Emilie feels incredibly lucky to have the Nation’s Capital as her hometown and enjoys touring the city as much as the tourist’s do! In her spare time, Emilie is a dedicated athlete and admirer of architecture, music, and philosophy.

Hillwood Estate, home to the late Majorie Merrieweather Post is a true gem of the city, it boasts 13 acres of gardens and two Fabergé eggs. As a member, I love sipping coffee while sitting amongst it’s blooms on the weekends. (But you don’t have to be a member to visit!)
